Comprising of just under 1,000 islands not far from Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands is geographically located where over 80% of the worlds earthquakes take place. Adding to this with severe flooding and weather conditions, cyclones and high tides, landslides there is always assistance required for this tiny pacific nation.
Lifting Communities Inc (LCI) have immediate free access of 1,350,000 items for disaster relief valued at over $5million for use in the Pacific Islands thanks to our very kind sponsors. These items are available immediately to send out to communities in the Solomon Islands there is no cost to you in your donation for the goods, all you are paying for is the logistics and freight handling. The materials are donated free, yes FREE, all we need is your support to freight the necessary materials to the Solomon Islands.

We have available all kinds of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) materials, that can be utilised in a number of different ways i.e. disposable hospital gowns can be used in the hospital, used for cleaning up communities, keeping people warm and dry from floods and rain. We already have most medical disposable items which makes our operation very cost effective and makes your donation go a long way, in only being targeted to paying the freight and logistics. The more donations the more freight we can send to the Solomon Islands.
This newspaper article shows one of many donations given to the Solomon Islands Hospital (NRH) in 2023, in conjunction with a local business Red Shed. Red Shed helps us to distribute our donations throughout the country. LCI and Red Shed have donated over 50 tons of clothing and supplies to the people of the Solomon Islands over the past 11 years
